Terms of use

Effective date: May 28, 2026

These Terms of use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PetBeats concerning your access to and use of the PetBeats digital ecosystem, including web interfaces, mobile experiences, communication channels, booking workflows, record-sharing capabilities, care-coordination functions, and any associated products, content, features, software, notices, and services. By registering, browsing, requesting services, listing services, uploading records, interacting with care partners, or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, and you further agree to be bound by all related policies referenced herein, including the Privacy Policy, safety policies, operational standards, and grievance mechanisms. If you do not agree with these Terms in full, you must not use PetBeats. These Terms are drafted to support transparent commerce, safety-forward pet care coordination, and lawful digital conduct under applicable Indian law.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

For purposes of these Terms, "PetBeats" means the technology platform operator and its authorized affiliates; "User" means any person or entity accessing or using the platform in any capacity; "Pet Parent" means an individual or household seeking pet-related services; "Care Partner" means any independent boarder, walker, groomer, trainer, pet taxi provider, veterinary partner, or comparable provider listing or delivering services through the platform; "Booking" means any service request, offer, acceptance, appointment, or transaction initiated or completed through platform tools; "Content" includes text, media, reviews, records, messages, documents, and metadata; "Applicable Law" includes all statutes, regulations, subordinate legislation, circulars, notifications, directions, and judicial orders enforceable in relevant jurisdictions, including India; and "Platform Rules" means all operational standards, guidance, or policy documents published by PetBeats from time to time. Headings are for convenience only and do not limit interpretation. Singular includes plural and vice versa. References to "including" are illustrative and not exhaustive. In case of conflict between translated versions, the English version governs, subject to mandatory legal rights.

2. Platform Nature, Scope, and Intermediary Function

PetBeats provides digital infrastructure that enables discovery, communication, booking orchestration, profile presentation, service visibility, reputation signaling, and care continuity support. PetBeats does not automatically become the direct provider of each listed service. Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific offering, PetBeats does not itself render boarding, transport, veterinary, grooming, training, or daycare services and does not employ every listed provider as an employee. Care Partners generally act as independent service providers responsible for their own facilities, conduct, representations, licenses, tax positions, professional judgments, and statutory compliance obligations. PetBeats may introduce verification layers, process controls, complaint workflows, and trust-enhancing measures; however, such measures do not transform PetBeats into a guarantor of every service outcome. Users acknowledge that animal care involves inherent practical uncertainty, including behaviour variability, health risks, and environmental contingencies. Platform use therefore requires good faith, proactive disclosure, and realistic expectations regarding intermediary facilitation versus direct service delivery responsibility.

3. Eligibility, Legal Capacity, and Acceptance Conditions

Use of PetBeats is permitted only to persons with legal capacity to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and related legal principles. Individuals under 18 years of age may not create independent contractual accounts except through lawful parental or guardian supervision where specifically allowed. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that your account information, identity indicators, and transactional representations are true, accurate, current, and complete, and that you will promptly update information when circumstances materially change. You agree not to create accounts through impersonation, identity masking, fraudulent devices, synthetic credentials, or unlawful data acquisition. Corporate or institutional users represent that their authorized representative has valid authority to bind the entity. PetBeats may request additional verification information where risk, legal, safety, or operational factors justify deeper checks. Failure to provide required information in reasonable time may result in limited functionality, account hold, or termination. Eligibility is ongoing, and violation discovered later may invalidate continued usage rights.

4. Account Security and Credential Responsibility

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials, authenticators, device access controls, and connected communication channels. You must maintain appropriate password hygiene, avoid credential reuse across unrelated services, and promptly notify PetBeats of suspected unauthorized activity. Any action performed through authenticated sessions linked to your account may be treated as authorized by you unless demonstrably compromised and timely reported. PetBeats may deploy security controls such as OTP flows, anomaly detection, session validation, or temporary account restrictions where suspicious activity is detected. You shall not attempt to bypass, probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, or degrade platform security architecture, including rate limits, access controls, anti-abuse systems, or authentication workflows. You agree to cooperate with security investigations where required for fraud prevention, incident response, law enforcement process, or platform integrity. PetBeats may preserve and disclose relevant records where lawful or necessary to investigate abuse, resolve disputes, protect users, or comply with legal obligations. Security is a shared responsibility between users and platform governance.

5. Listings, Profiles, Representations, and Reliance

Care Partners must ensure that all listings, rate cards, qualifications, location claims, service scope statements, facility descriptions, and policy disclosures are truthful, non-misleading, and reasonably current. Pet Parents must provide accurate pet profiles, including age, breed, behavioural profile, medical sensitivities, aggression history, medication instructions, dietary requirements, and vaccination context. Users acknowledge that decisions made by counterparties may rely on such declarations, and inaccurate information may materially impact safety outcomes. PetBeats reserves the right, without obligation, to request documentary support for claims made in profiles or listings, and to modify visibility or remove content that appears inconsistent, deceptive, unsafe, legally risky, or misleading. Ranking, discovery prominence, and recommendation visibility may be influenced by multi-factor criteria, including quality signals, responsiveness, policy adherence, review integrity, and risk indicators. PetBeats does not guarantee that listings will appear in any specific order or receive minimum booking volume. Users are responsible for independent judgment before transacting, including clarifying material service terms before final acceptance.

6. Booking Lifecycle, Confirmation Logic, and Commercial Terms

Bookings may involve request submission, quote issuance, negotiation windows, acceptance events, payment authorizations, scheduling controls, and completion triggers. A booking becomes contractually enforceable when required platform acceptance and payment conditions are satisfied, unless explicitly marked tentative. Time-sensitive or event-based services may include stricter confirmation rules and cancellation exposure. Platform-displayed prices may include provider charges, platform service fees, taxes, and other components disclosed at checkout; final payable amount depends on applicable taxes, jurisdictional treatment, and service-specific conditions. Users agree to pay all lawful amounts incurred through account activity, including add-ons, extension charges, emergency expenses authorized under policy, and unresolved dues linked to completed services. Unauthorized chargebacks, payment abuse, or deliberate fee circumvention may result in account restriction and recovery action. PetBeats may suspend payouts or settlement flows where fraud, policy breach, legal order, or dispute investigation requires temporary hold. Commercial transparency requires timely communication; users should review quotes, timelines, and policy disclosures before committing.

7. Taxes, Invoicing, and Statutory Compliance

Users acknowledge that tax treatment depends on service type, provider status, jurisdiction, and applicable law. Care Partners are responsible for determining and meeting their own direct and indirect tax obligations, including GST registration, invoicing standards, return filing, and statutory records where applicable. PetBeats may provide transaction summaries, fee statements, or platform-generated records for convenience; however, such outputs do not constitute individualized tax advice. Pet Parents are responsible for reviewing billing details and preserving records needed for reimbursement or compliance purposes. Where required by law, PetBeats may collect, validate, retain, and report prescribed information to tax or regulatory authorities. If withholding obligations apply under law, users agree that PetBeats may execute required deductions and report accordingly. Discrepancies in tax identifiers, invoice metadata, or legal name mapping may delay settlement or access until rectified. Users should consult qualified tax professionals for formal advice; PetBeats disclaims liability for tax outcomes arising from user misclassification, omission, or non-compliance.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling, Refunds, and No-Show Outcomes

Cancellation rights and financial consequences depend on booking type, time remaining before service start, provider policy disclosures, and applicable consumer protection requirements. Rescheduling may be offered where feasible but is not guaranteed in all scenarios. PetBeats may administer rule-based refund calculations, discretionary interventions for exceptional events, and evidence-based dispute adjustments where fairness requires contextual review. No-shows, late arrivals, incomplete disclosures, or denied access at service commencement may reduce refund eligibility. In cases involving safety concerns, emergency events, misrepresentation, or severe breach, PetBeats may impose immediate booking cancellation or hold without advance notice where required to protect users or animals. Refund timelines are subject to payment rail processing cycles and banking constraints. Where users pursue external chargebacks without prior grievance process engagement, PetBeats may temporarily limit account functions pending investigation. Nothing in this section removes non-waivable statutory consumer rights. Users are encouraged to read booking-specific rules before committing and maintain written communication within the platform.

9. Pet Health Disclosure, Behavioural Risk, and Welfare Duties

Pet Parents must disclose all material health and behaviour information relevant to safe service delivery, including contagious conditions, recurring symptoms, medication schedules, bite history, anxiety triggers, mobility limitations, and feeding restrictions. Care Partners must review disclosed information, ask clarifying questions where needed, and decline services where safety cannot be reasonably managed. Concealment or minimization of critical risk details may constitute material breach and may result in immediate cancellation, loss of refund eligibility, and account action. Pet welfare must remain central throughout service delivery, including access to water, humane supervision, hygiene standards, safe transport handling, and lawful care conditions. Users agree that animal behaviour can change due to stress, unfamiliar environments, weather, noise, social triggers, and health status. Incident documentation, timely escalation, and cooperative response are required when adverse events occur. PetBeats may request records or statements to assess policy compliance and improve safeguards. This section supplements, and does not replace, statutory duties under applicable animal welfare and public safety laws.

10. Emergency Intervention and Medical Authorization Framework

Where urgent circumstances indicate that delay could reasonably threaten pet welfare, and immediate owner instruction is unavailable despite good-faith attempts, Pet Parents authorize Care Partners to seek emergency veterinary assistance consistent with the best available information at that time. Users acknowledge that emergency clinical decisions are made by licensed professionals or attending care providers based on situational judgment, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Reasonable emergency expenses, including transport and stabilisation costs, may be charged to the Pet Parent subject to supporting documentation. Care Partners must attempt timely notification using available contact channels and maintain factual records of intervention steps taken. PetBeats may assist in communication routing and case documentation but does not practice veterinary medicine through this facilitation function. If a Pet Parent has specific emergency constraints, such constraints must be stated clearly before booking confirmation. Ambiguous or delayed instructions may reduce ability to optimize outcomes. This emergency authorization is designed to avoid harmful delay, not to bypass owner rights in non-urgent decisions.

11. User Conduct, Community Standards, and Prohibited Behaviour

Users shall engage respectfully and lawfully. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, threats, discrimination, stalking, extortion, blackmail, hate speech, non-consensual publication of personal data, defamatory accusations, spam, malicious reporting, review manipulation, identity theft, malware distribution, unauthorized scraping, and interference with platform functionality. Users shall not upload unlawful, infringing, obscene, deceptive, or safety-compromising content. Attempts to evade enforcement via alternate accounts, device rotations, proxy identity layers, or coordinated abuse networks are prohibited. Users may not solicit off-platform payments intended to avoid platform fees, protections, dispute trails, or policy checks. Care Partners shall not claim qualifications, licenses, affiliations, or capabilities they do not hold. Pet Parents shall not use booking mechanisms for fraudulent claims, retaliation, or coercive negotiation. PetBeats may apply graduated or immediate sanctions depending on severity, including content removal, ranking penalties, temporary suspension, payout hold, permanent ban, and legal escalation. Cooperation with legitimate investigations is mandatory for continued access.

12. Reviews, Ratings, and Reputation Integrity

Reviews and ratings are intended to reflect authentic service experiences and must be submitted in good faith. Users may not create fake reviews, purchase ratings, coordinate influence campaigns, post fabricated incidents, or condition service/payment on forced positive feedback. PetBeats may moderate, de-prioritize, or remove content that is abusive, irrelevant, unlawful, or unsupported by transactional context. While PetBeats may detect suspicious patterns, it does not guarantee that all improper reviews will be identified instantly. Users agree that aggregate rating systems are probabilistic trust signals, not definitive guarantees of future outcome. Counterparties may respond to reviews where appropriate, but retaliatory disclosure of private data is prohibited. Where verified abuse is established, PetBeats may adjust reputation outputs or apply enforcement against offending accounts. Review transparency supports informed decision-making; therefore, users should provide factual, specific, and proportionate feedback. PetBeats may preserve moderation logs for legal compliance, platform integrity investigations, and dispute defense.

13. Communications, Notices, and Electronic Consent

By using PetBeats, you consent to receive electronic communications, including transactional updates, security alerts, policy notices, support responses, legal communications, and administrative messages through email, SMS, in-app notifications, platform banners, or comparable digital channels. You are responsible for maintaining valid and reachable contact details. Notices sent to the latest contact records in your account are deemed received within reasonable transmission timelines unless demonstrably undelivered due to platform fault. Promotional communications may be managed through available opt-out settings, subject to mandatory service and legal notices that cannot be fully disabled. Users shall not misuse communication channels for spam, phishing, coercion, or harassment. PetBeats may archive communications for quality review, fraud investigation, legal compliance, and grievance resolution. If a specific notice format is required by law for a dispute or claim, users should follow prescribed legal process in addition to platform channels. Electronic records may be used as evidentiary support where permissible by law.

14. Intellectual Property, License, and Use Restrictions

All platform software, source code elements, interface design, branding assets, logos, trademarks, service marks, textual content, process architecture, and curated compilations are owned by PetBeats or licensed to PetBeats and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to compliance with these Terms, PetBeats grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for personal or internal business purposes tied to lawful pet-care marketplace participation. This license does not permit resale, sublicensing, derivative platform cloning, bulk extraction, unauthorized API replication, reverse engineering, framing, or commercial exploitation outside permitted use. User-generated content remains owned by users; however, users grant PetBeats a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, display, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, moderate, and distribute such content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. Users represent they have rights to upload submitted content and agree to indemnify PetBeats against third-party infringement claims arising from unlawful uploads.

15. Data Governance Linkages and Privacy Commitments

PetBeats processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations. By using the platform, users acknowledge that certain data processing is operationally necessary to facilitate bookings, trust checks, fraud prevention, customer support, legal compliance, incident response, and dispute handling. Where consent is required by law, PetBeats seeks and records consent through appropriate notice and control mechanisms. Users may exercise rights in accordance with law and policy, subject to legitimate retention and legal defense needs. Platform safety may require temporary restrictions on deletion requests while unresolved disputes or investigations are active. Users should avoid public posting of highly sensitive data in fields visible to others. PetBeats may use de-identified or aggregated insights for analytics, quality improvement, capacity planning, and service reliability. This section is interpretive and supplementary; full details, categories, rights pathways, retention logic, and grievance contacts are provided in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

16. Third-Party Services and External Dependencies

Platform functionality may rely on third-party infrastructure, mapping services, messaging providers, payment processors, cloud services, analytics tools, content distribution mechanisms, and other integrations. PetBeats is not responsible for downtime, data latency, service quality degradation, or legal constraints attributable to external providers beyond its reasonable control, though it will make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain continuity and mitigate impact. Links to external websites or resources are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement unless expressly stated. Users interacting with third-party systems may be subject to separate terms and policies of those providers. PetBeats does not guarantee compatibility across all devices, browsers, or network conditions at all times. Feature availability may vary by geography, regulatory context, technical constraints, and risk posture. Users acknowledge that service interruptions can occur due to maintenance, security hardening, legal orders, force majeure events, or infrastructure incidents. PetBeats may update integration architecture without prior individual consent where necessary for reliability or compliance.

17. Suspension, Restrictions, and Termination Rights

PetBeats may suspend, limit, or terminate any account, booking pathway, payout channel, or feature access where it reasonably believes that policy breaches, fraud indicators, security concerns, legal non-compliance, misrepresentation, abusive behaviour, payment risk, or public safety issues exist. In severe cases, action may be immediate and without prior notice to prevent harm. In non-critical cases, PetBeats may provide cure windows, explanation requests, or staged enforcement. Users may terminate their account by following available closure procedures, subject to completion of pending obligations, settlement of dues, and legal retention requirements. Termination does not automatically erase records that must be preserved for compliance, fraud defense, accounting, grievance handling, or legal process. Clauses by nature intended to survive termination, including liability limits, indemnity, dispute resolution, and intellectual property protections, remain enforceable post-termination. Re-registration after enforcement without explicit written permission is prohibited. PetBeats may decline onboarding requests from previously terminated users where trust or safety risks persist.

18. Disclaimers of Warranties

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. PetBeats disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, non-infringement, and error-free operation, except where such disclaimers are legally restricted. PetBeats does not warrant that platform outputs, recommendations, ranking positions, review patterns, or communication transit will always be complete, timely, or free from third-party disruption. Animal care outcomes are inherently variable and depend on multiple factors outside PetBeats' direct control. Users are responsible for independent judgment and appropriate caution when selecting services, sharing records, and making care decisions. Nothing in this section limits statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Where jurisdiction requires specific warranty protections, those protections apply to the minimum extent mandated by law. PetBeats may conduct maintenance, upgrades, or emergency interventions that temporarily affect access without liability for resulting inconvenience where commercially reasonable safeguards were maintained.

19. Limitation of Liability and Risk Allocation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PetBeats, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, business interruption, reputational harm, data loss, or emotional distress arising from or related to platform use, even if advised of possible damages. PetBeats' aggregate liability for direct damages arising from a specific claim shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by the claimant to PetBeats in the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless a different minimum is required by non-waivable law. Users acknowledge this liability framework as a negotiated risk allocation supporting affordable platform operations. This limitation does not exclude liability for matters that cannot be excluded under law, including statutory consumer rights where applicable. Claims must be raised within legally permissible timelines and supported by reasonably detailed evidence. Failure to mitigate reasonably avoidable losses may affect recovery.

20. Indemnity and Defense Obligations

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PetBeats and its affiliates from and against all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your unlawful or negligent conduct, your violation of third-party rights, your inaccurate disclosures, your misuse of platform tools, or disputes between you and other users except to the extent caused solely by PetBeats' proven wilful misconduct. PetBeats may assume control of defense in claims implicating platform interests, and you agree to cooperate fully with reasonable requests for documents, statements, and factual clarifications. Settlement of any claim imposing obligations on PetBeats requires PetBeats' prior written consent. This indemnity survives termination and applies regardless of whether the claim arises during active account status or after closure, if linked to historical platform activity.

21. Force Majeure and Operational Resilience

PetBeats shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemic events, civil disturbances, government actions, infrastructure failure, internet backbone disruptions, cyberattacks of exceptional scale, labour disruptions, or legal injunctions affecting service operations. During such events, PetBeats may implement temporary controls, modify workflows, prioritize safety-sensitive actions, or suspend affected features until stability is restored. Users agree to act reasonably and cooperatively during resilience measures, including communication delays or temporary procedural changes. Force majeure does not eliminate obligations already accrued but may extend timelines for performance where objectively necessary. PetBeats will use commercially reasonable efforts to resume normal operations promptly and to communicate material impacts through available channels.

22. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including, where relevant, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 context, and applicable subordinate legal instruments. Parties shall first attempt good-faith resolution through PetBeats support and grievance channels. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed in accordance with applicable law, with seat and venue in Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless mandatory law prescribes otherwise. Proceedings shall be conducted in English. Subject to arbitration framework and non-waivable consumer forum rights, courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction for matters requiring judicial intervention. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from competent courts for protection of rights, confidentiality, data security, or safety interests.

23. Policy Updates, Versioning, and Continued Use

PetBeats may amend these Terms to reflect legal updates, regulatory directives, product evolution, risk controls, market practices, or operational learnings. Material updates will be communicated through reasonable channels, such as website publication, app notice, email, or in-account alerts, with updated effective date. Continued use after effective date constitutes acceptance of revised Terms unless mandatory law requires explicit renewed consent. If you do not agree with revisions, you must stop using the platform and follow account closure steps. For evidentiary clarity, PetBeats may retain historical versions and change logs. Minor editorial changes that do not alter substantive rights may become effective upon publication. Users are encouraged to periodically review Terms and related policies to remain informed of current obligations and protections.

24. Severability, Waiver, Assignment, and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, remaining provisions shall continue in full force to the maximum extent permitted, and the invalid portion shall be interpreted, where possible, to reflect original intent lawfully. Failure by PetBeats to enforce any provision on one occasion does not constitute waiver of future enforcement. Users may not assign or transfer rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent of PetBeats. PetBeats may assign rights and obligations in connection with merger, restructuring, acquisition, or lawful business transfer, subject to continued protection of user rights under applicable law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and referenced platform rules, constitute the entire agreement between you and PetBeats regarding platform use and supersede prior oral or written understandings on the same subject matter.

25. Sector-Specific Compliance Clarifications

Users acknowledge that pet-care activities may intersect with municipal licensing norms, resident welfare rules, transport safety guidance, veterinary ethics standards, and welfare-sensitive handling expectations. PetBeats expects Care Partners to determine and satisfy local legal and operational prerequisites before offering services. PetBeats may publish educational checklists or compliance reminders; however, such guidance is informational and does not replace professional legal consultation. Where jurisdictional requirements conflict, the stricter lawful standard should be followed unless authority direction states otherwise. Pet Parents are responsible for confirming that requested services are lawful in their locality and suitable for their pet's condition. For apartment or gated-community contexts, users should secure society permissions where required. Failure to follow local restrictions may result in cancellation, enforcement action, or legal exposure borne by responsible users. PetBeats may cooperate with lawful inquiries concerning compliance breaches and may restrict profile visibility for unresolved regulatory concerns.

26. Evidence Preservation, Incident Logs, and Investigation Standards

For dispute fairness and platform integrity, users agree to preserve relevant evidence, including time-stamped messages, photos, invoices, veterinary notes, pickup and drop proofs, and payment references where available. PetBeats may request additional detail in structured formats to accelerate neutral review. Users should avoid editing or fabricating evidence; doing so may trigger severe enforcement, including permanent deactivation and legal referral. PetBeats may maintain incident timelines, moderation notes, and risk flags to support pattern detection and consistent decision-making. Investigations may involve cross-checking platform telemetry, communication logs, prior complaints, and policy history. Review outcomes are based on available records and may not satisfy all parties if objective evidence is limited. PetBeats may reopen closed cases upon receipt of credible new material within reasonable time windows. Preservation obligations support accountability and reduce false claims, coercion, and retaliatory misuse.

27. Service Quality Expectations and Reasonable Performance Standard

Care Partners agree to provide services with reasonable skill, diligence, hygiene, communication clarity, and welfare sensitivity consistent with represented capabilities. Pet Parents agree to provide timely handover instructions, accessible emergency contacts, and required supplies where relevant. Quality issues may be assessed against the booking description, written commitments, professional standards, and contextual constraints. PetBeats may facilitate quality remediation, including partial adjustments, education prompts, or temporary listing controls where repeated patterns emerge. A single adverse event does not automatically prove systemic negligence; however, repeated substantiated incidents may justify stronger interventions. Users should provide specific, evidence-based feedback rather than generalized allegations to support proportionate resolution. PetBeats may establish category-specific service benchmarks to improve consistency while allowing local flexibility. This quality framework seeks fairness to both service recipients and providers while prioritizing pet welfare.

28. Marketplace Fairness, Anti-Discrimination, and Ethical Conduct

PetBeats prohibits discrimination on unlawful grounds and expects inclusive treatment during service interactions, profile evaluation, communication, and dispute handling. Care decisions should be based on legitimate factors such as pet safety, documented capability limits, schedule feasibility, and regulatory boundaries, not bias. Users shall not post discriminatory remarks, exclusionary policies lacking lawful basis, or demeaning stereotypes. PetBeats may remove such content and apply enforcement. Where users decline bookings for safety reasons, they should provide clear factual context to reduce misunderstanding. PetBeats encourages respectful communication and good-faith accommodations where practical. Ethical conduct includes truthfulness in claims, proportionality in complaints, and avoidance of intimidation tactics. Anti-discrimination safeguards are integral to trust, reputation integrity, and lawful operations.

29. Confidentiality of Sensitive Information in Care Workflows

Users may receive sensitive information about pets, households, schedules, addresses, access methods, or health notes. Such information must be used only for legitimate booking and care purposes, and not for unrelated solicitation, profiling, publication, or unauthorized sharing. Care Partners shall protect household privacy and avoid unnecessary disclosure of client details. Pet Parents shall similarly protect provider information and avoid doxxing, harassment, or reputational misuse. If a data leak or accidental disclosure occurs, affected users should notify PetBeats promptly to support mitigation. Platform messaging should be preferred for high-risk coordination where feasible. Confidentiality obligations survive booking completion and account closure to the extent legally enforceable.

30. Business Continuity, Migration, and Data Portability Support

PetBeats may periodically perform architectural upgrades, service migrations, data model changes, and operational continuity drills to sustain reliability and security. During such transitions, temporary interface differences, delayed synchronization, or short maintenance windows may occur. PetBeats aims to minimize disruption and preserve core records necessary for ongoing operations. Where practical and lawful, users may request export-friendly summaries of key account or booking data for personal records, subject to privacy and security constraints. Portability-like support may be limited for proprietary analytics outputs, fraud risk models, or data whose disclosure could undermine platform integrity or third-party rights. Continuity efforts are intended to safeguard long-term availability and resilience of user experience.

31. Regulatory Cooperation and Lawful Process Handling

PetBeats may respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, law enforcement, tax authorities, and other competent bodies in accordance with applicable law. Where legally permitted, PetBeats may evaluate scope, seek clarification for overbroad requests, and preserve proportionality in disclosures. Users acknowledge that refusal to provide legally required information may affect account functionality. PetBeats may maintain process logs and transparency records, subject to confidentiality constraints, for accountability and legal defense. Nothing in these Terms prevents PetBeats from taking urgent action to protect life, safety, critical system integrity, or lawful compliance interests.

32. Language, Interpretation, and Good-Faith Performance

These Terms should be interpreted in good faith, with emphasis on safety, fairness, proportionality, and lawful operation. If ambiguities arise, interpretation that best preserves enforceability and practical marketplace function shall be preferred, subject to mandatory law. Users agree to cooperate reasonably in resolving practical implementation issues not expressly covered by every clause. PetBeats may publish explanatory FAQs and examples to clarify usage expectations without replacing these Terms. This clause supports constructive interpretation rather than adversarial technical exploitation of drafting gaps.

33. Detailed Operational Protocols for Multi-Service Bookings

Where a booking includes multiple services across different categories, such as boarding plus grooming plus transportation or vaccination follow-up plus home-care scheduling, users acknowledge that coordination complexity increases and requires structured communication discipline. Pet Parents should provide consolidated instructions in clear written form and identify priority constraints, timing dependencies, and mandatory care steps. Care Partners should confirm feasibility before acceptance and communicate any deviations promptly. PetBeats may support consolidated itinerary views, status checkpoints, and message threading; however, users remain responsible for reviewing updates and resolving conflicts in real time. If a dependent service fails due to delay, weather disruption, route restrictions, provider unavailability, incomplete records, or pet-specific considerations, downstream services may require adjustment or cancellation. Liability and refund outcomes in bundled flows may be assessed at component level based on causation, disclosure quality, and policy applicability. Users should not assume automatic substitutability between independent providers. PetBeats may facilitate replacement options on best-effort basis but cannot guarantee instant equivalence in every locality or time window.

For critical multi-step care plans, users should maintain redundancy contacts, alternate clinic references, and backup care instructions. If one provider exits or is suspended during an active chain, PetBeats may apply emergency continuity measures, including limited disclosure to replacement providers strictly for service continuation. Disputes in bundled engagements may require separate evidence for each leg, including timestamps, handover records, photos, and payment traces. PetBeats may prioritize welfare and continuity over commercial optimization in time-sensitive events. Users agree that coordinated services depend on cooperative conduct from all participants and may be constrained by factors beyond platform control.

34. Comprehensive Reservation of Rights and Platform Evolution Clause

PetBeats reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms, including rights to modify, suspend, sunset, re-price, regionalize, relabel, or restructure features, workflows, categories, and policy logic where such action is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety enhancement, fraud mitigation, technical reliability, commercial sustainability, or product evolution. Feature names, interface layouts, and process sequencing may change over time without creating vested rights in historical implementations. PetBeats may pilot experimental controls with limited user cohorts to evaluate reliability, fairness, or abuse prevention outcomes before wider rollout. Such pilots may temporarily alter booking friction, verification pathways, ranking methodology, or support routing. Users acknowledge that digital marketplaces require iterative governance and that not all features are available equally across geographies, user segments, or risk tiers.

PetBeats may impose category-specific participation prerequisites, such as enhanced profile requirements, documentation checkpoints, service caps, response-time expectations, or safety attestations. Non-compliance may affect discoverability or access eligibility. PetBeats may also introduce trust scores, quality tiers, or policy health indicators to inform marketplace integrity measures, subject to legal and fairness constraints. Nothing in this clause shall reduce mandatory statutory protections available to users under applicable law. This reservation-of-rights framework is intended to preserve platform resilience and lawful adaptability in a dynamic legal and operational environment.

35. Extended Compliance Annex for High-Risk Situations

In complex or high-risk scenarios, including repeat cancellations with conflicting evidence, allegations involving injury or neglect, repeated payment reversals, coordinated abuse campaigns, or conflicts involving external legal notices, PetBeats may activate enhanced compliance protocols. These protocols can include temporary communication channel restrictions, evidence standardization templates, parallel review by trust and legal teams, and interim risk controls affecting booking visibility, payout timing, or account actions. PetBeats may request sworn statements, clinic documents, identity confirmations, timestamped media, or third-party attestations where materially necessary for fair adjudication. Users agree to respond truthfully and within reasonable timelines. Non-cooperation may affect case outcomes where critical facts remain unverifiable. PetBeats may also request that users route ongoing communication through designated channels to preserve evidence continuity and reduce escalation risk.

Where competing narratives exist and direct verification remains limited, PetBeats may adopt precautionary measures prioritizing welfare and marketplace safety while preserving rights of review and appeal. Interim measures are not final determinations of fault and may be revised as evidence develops. Users should avoid publishing defamatory allegations during unresolved investigations; doing so may trigger separate enforcement. In legally sensitive matters, PetBeats may coordinate with counsel and comply with lawful directions regarding disclosure, record preservation, and process confidentiality. PetBeats may preserve relevant data for extended durations where litigation hold, statutory duties, or serious abuse patterns justify such retention. This annex is designed to support procedural fairness, consistency, and defensible decision-making in exceptional cases that exceed routine support workflows.

36. Long-Form User Acknowledgement Statement

By continuing to use PetBeats, each user expressly acknowledges that digital pet-care coordination is a shared-responsibility environment requiring truthful communication, timely response behaviour, respect for safety processes, and compliance with lawful instructions. Users acknowledge that platform safeguards, while robust, cannot eliminate all real-world risk connected to animal behaviour, travel conditions, provider availability shifts, weather disruptions, technology interruptions, or human error. Users agree to act prudently, document important instructions in writing, and escalate concerns early rather than after preventable deterioration of circumstances. Users further acknowledge that PetBeats may rely on good-faith submissions and cannot independently verify every factual claim in real time, especially in fast-moving or emergency contexts. Accordingly, users accept that policy outcomes may depend materially on evidence quality, chronology, and cooperation. Users agree not to weaponize policy clauses through bad-faith literalism, selective evidence suppression, or retaliatory narrative framing. The purpose of these Terms is to balance enforceable rights with practical welfare-focused operations, and users agree to interpret obligations in that spirit while preserving lawful remedies.

37. Supplemental Commercial and Conduct Annex

Users confirm that transparent digital conduct is a core platform expectation. This includes timely acknowledgement of booking messages, truthful cost communication, clear scope confirmation before service commencement, and respectful handling of cancellations or disputes. Care Partners should avoid ambiguous pricing structures and should disclose material exclusions in writing before acceptance. Pet Parents should avoid last-minute scope expansion without mutual consent and should provide reasonable access coordination. Both sides should maintain objective records for major decisions, including approved changes and emergency expenses. PetBeats may use this documentation standard in adjudication and quality audits.

Where users repeatedly create avoidable friction through delayed responses, contradictory instructions, or habitual non-cooperation, PetBeats may apply behavioural safeguards such as reduced discoverability, stricter prepayment requirements, or temporary booking throttles. These controls are designed to protect ecosystem reliability and reduce preventable failures. Users agree that platform continuity depends on disciplined participation and that enforcement is not solely punitive but also corrective and preventive.

38. Final Reader Acknowledgement

Users acknowledge that this document intentionally provides detailed governance language so that expectations are explicit before and during platform use. Detailed drafting is intended to reduce ambiguity in real operational situations, including emergency handling, payment disputes, profile misrepresentation, and compliance-sensitive investigations. Users are encouraged to read these clauses carefully, ask clarifying questions when needed, and retain copies for future reference. Continued use indicates understanding that rights and responsibilities are reciprocal and that responsible conduct by all participants is essential to reliable pet-care coordination.

39. Interpretive Reminder

Users remain free to seek independent legal advice regarding interpretation of these Terms and are encouraged to do so before high-value or high-risk usage decisions.

This agreement is intentionally detailed to improve predictability, accountability, and user awareness across complex pet-care transactions.
